Ten years ago my wife organized a surprise 50th birthday party for me. Twenty of my best local friends showed up at my favorite Cuban restaurant and we all enjoyed paella together. It was easily my favorite birthday party ever. The best thing was that I was 49 years old that day. My wife was so eager to make my 50th special, she got ahead of herself.
